Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University, Organizes the “Global Care Nursing Exchange Program (GCNEP)” to Enhance International Competencies From February 8–13, 2026, the Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University, organized the Global Care Nursing Exchange Program (GCNEP) at the University of the Immaculate Conception in Davao City, Philippines. This international exchange initiative supported nine faculty members, staff, and nursing students in participating in academic and professional activities abroad. The delegation was led by Lecturer Achariyaporn Detyotin from the Community Nursing department, who guided the team in engaging in knowledge exchange related to academics and professional practice. The program aimed to enhance learning through real-world international experiences, broaden perspectives on global health systems, and strengthen professional competencies within diverse multicultural academic environments. In addition, the delegation participated in the International Research Congress on Healthcare 2026, which focused on the theme “Nursing Leadership in Asia-Pacific: Integrating Smart Health Systems and Ethical Community Practice for Health Equity.” Faculty members presented their research and exchanged knowledge while building academic collaboration networks with international institutions. This initiative reinforces the Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University’s commitment to internationalization and its ongoing efforts to advance the quality of nursing education in line with the evolving dynamics of global health systems.
Faculty of Nursing at Burapha University extended a prestigious welcome to the scholarship sponsors from Scandinavian Village, Bangsaen, on February 12, 2026. Held at the Dok Peep Meeting Room, the event saw 24 aspiring nursing students participate in interviews for this generous scholarship program. Through this meaningful scholarship, we celebrate a continued commitment to educational empowerment. By providing these vital opportunities, we are working hand-in-hand to prepare our students to become highly competent professionals who will make a lasting impact on healthcare.
The Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University, organized the BRIDGE-RESCUE: LEAP-NEXUS Nursing Mobility Program 2026 in the Republic of the Philippines The Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University, implemented the BRIDGE-RESCUE: LEAP-NEXUS Nursing Mobility Program 2026 at Central Philippine University, Republic of the Philippines with the aim of strengthening international academic collaboration and enhancing nursing competencies in alignment with global standards From 4–7 February 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornchai Jullamate, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University, led a delegation of ten participants, which included faculty members, supporting staff, and students. They engaged in academic exchange activities that focused on research, technology, and nursing education management. The program also emphasized learning in disaster nursing and fostering cross-cultural understanding, in collaboration with faculty members and students from Central Philippine University. The activities aimed to enhance the capacity of students and personnel through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices. This collaboration is expected to further develop academic partnerships, joint research initiatives, and collaborative curriculum development in the future, while also strengthening internationalization and preparing nursing graduates to work effectively and sustainably in multicultural contexts
Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University, Hosts I-ASCEND GLOBE 2026 to Strengthen International Academic Collaboration and Enhance Nursing Excellence at the Global Level The Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University organized the I-ASCEND GLOBE 2026 program—an international academic collaboration initiative aimed at advancing excellence in nursing development and creating global learning opportunities. The program was held from February 1 to 4, 2026, at Our Lady of Fatima University, Valenzuela City, Republic of the Philippines. On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Pornchai Jullamate, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University, led a delegation of ten faculty members and support staff to engage in a study visit and academic exchange. The activities focused on the development and enhancement of nursing education management, with an emphasis on the application of educational technology and innovation to enhance nursing excellence at the global level and to respond to changes in the global health system. In addition, the two institutions jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote academic collaboration in curriculum development, faculty and student exchanges, joint research, and the development of nursing innovations. This collaboration serves as a key mechanism for creating global learning opportunities, advancing nursing excellence at the international level, and transcending boundaries to strengthen leadership in driving sustainable and globally responsive health and well-being.
