Objectives of the curriculum
To produce doctoral graduates with the following competencies:
1. Possess advanced knowledge and the ability to identify research problems aligned with healthcare and nursing situations, create new knowledge through research and the development of innovations to address complex health issues at the individual, family, and community levels, and disseminate knowledge to national and international standards.
2. Demonstrate digital technology skills for managing and presenting information, analyzing, synthesizing, and integrating nursing sciences, as well as transferring knowledge to improve the quality of life of the population and inform health policies.
3. Uphold academic and research ethics and possess the ability to handle complex ethical issues in both academic and professional contexts.
4. Exhibit leadership in academic and professional domains, serve as a role model for correctness, and lead creative changes related to health and the nursing profession. They must be globally responsible, dedicated to advancing the nursing profession and society, and capable of building academic and research networks at national and international levels.

Qualifications of Applicants
Must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent.
The Master’s degree must be from a program accredited by the Nursing Council or in the field of Health Sciences.
1. Must hold a Master’s degree in Nursing or Health Sciences.
2. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.50.
3. Must possess a Professional Nursing or Midwifery License.
4. Must have at least one research publication (not part of the dissertation work) published at the national level.
5. Must meet the English language proficiency requirements as announced by Burapha University.
6. In cases where the qualifications do not meet items 1-6, consideration is at the discretion of the program’s administrative committee.
1. Must hold a Master’s degree in Nursing accredited by the Nursing Council or a Master’s degree in Health Sciences.
2. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.50.
3. Must possess a Professional Nursing or Midwifery License.
4. Must meet the English language proficiency requirements as announced by Burapha University.
5. In cases where the qualifications do not meet items 1-5, consideration is at the discretion of the program’s administrative committee.

1. Dissertation research scholarship.
2. Scholarship as the lecturers of Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University.

1. Suitable educational facilities and classrooms are provided for graduate studies, equipped with adequate and ready-to-use audio-visual equipment.
2. Students have access to appropriate office or study spaces that support and enhance their learning experience.
3. Faculty offices are appropriately designed and proportioned to facilitate effective work and student advising.
4. Specialized nursing laboratories aligned with the curriculum are available, fully equipped for advanced skill practice:

5. Adequate computer facilities are provided for students to conduct specialized research.
6. Burapha University’s library offers a wide range of current nursing and health sciences books, curriculum-related resources, electronic books, Thai and English nursing journals, electronic databases for scientific, medical, and nursing publications, and comprehensive domestic and international research databases accessible anytime.
7. Adequate nursing practice sites are available for master’s degree students, aligned with their fields of study and related disciplines, ensuring sufficient patients/service recipients for practical learning.
