On 13 September 2026, at Toki Messe Niigata Convention Center, Japan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornchai Jullamate, Former Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University, together with Dr. Yupawan Thongtanunam, Associate Dean for Strategic Partnerships and Social Engagement, Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University, were invited by Prof. Dr. Noriaki Yamamoto, President of The 28th Annual Meeting of the Japan Osteoporosis Society, Director of Niigata Rehabilitation Hospital, and Board Member of FFN-Japan, to participate in The 28th Annual Meeting of the Japan Osteoporosis Society.<br />

On this occasion, Dr. Yupawan Thongtanunam delivered a presentation entitled &ldquo;Empowering Older Women against Osteoporosis: A Holistic Nursing Perspective from Thailand.&rdquo; The presentation highlighted a holistic nursing perspective on health promotion and osteoporosis prevention among older women, drawing on the Thai context. It also provided an opportunity to exchange academic knowledge, experiences, and perspectives with international experts.<br />

The Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University, continues to strengthen academic collaboration networks between Thailand and Japan, while promoting knowledge exchange in nursing, medicine, older adult healthcare, and research. These efforts aim to foster further collaboration and jointly advance academic knowledge and professional development in the future.&nbsp;
