Currently, promoting health and family is very important. This must be started since childhood ,and we must lay the groundwork for child development in physical, mental, social, and intellectual.
Childhood parenting is required the staffs who have knowledge about children and bio – psycho - social as well as how to improve children.
Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University has seen these problems so we organized the Research and Laboratory Center for Learning and Development of Young Childhood which was established in the year 1997
Communication in the Research and Laboratory Center for Learning and Development of Young Childhood
Child development centers and parents are like having the same child, which provides love, warmth, safety, comfort to the fullest extent possible, and allows the child to develop appropriately for maturity. Therefore, closeness and communication between parents and the Center is important in order to ensure the efficient operation of the Center. Parents can communicate with the Center as follows:
1. Parents are able to talk, exchange information or problems of children with the head pf of the center as well as the caretaker. It may be during child-hours or other convenient times.
2. When the children have a problem that need to be solicited from home, the center may invite the parents to discuss about their children's problem and work together in order to find the solution.
3. Parents are able to give any suggestion or recommendation regarding the center's work.
4. Parents are kindly asked to cooperate to fill out the children’s identification form and send to the staffs at the pickup time.

Rationale
Trends in the role of nurses in health promotion especially for promoting family health starting in childhood. This must be started since childhood and we must lay the groundwork for child development in physical, mental, social, and intellectual.

Since most parents are currently working outside. The time to take care of children is less and some parent leave their children at home with babysitter who lack of knowledge
Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University have identified these problems, needs and necessities.
The Research and Laboratory Center for Learning and Development of Young Childhood according consistent and responsive to the university's main policy.

Objective and Mission
Objective
1. Research on child care of lecturers and graduate students of Faculty of Nursing or other disciplines inside and outside Burapha University.
2. Childcare with emphasis on health promotion, growth and development of young children in physically, intellectually and psychologically.
3. Practice professional nursing students both undergraduate and graduate levels and related fields
Mission
1. Research and innovation in order to develop child care.
2. Provide academic services in child care and develop the knowledge and skills of the staff
3. Provide professional experience in child care for undergraduate and graduate students Faculty of Nursing and related fields
Recruitment
Recruitment
1. Accept children age between 1½ months and 4 years
2. Accept normal care children, a child with no physical or mental disability and requires special care.
3. Accept children according to the sequence number of application form
Register
Submit an application form along with the following documents:
1. A copy of birth certificate
2. A copy of house registration
3. 3 Photographs of children, no size limit
4. 2 Photographs of the person who responsible for pick up children 3 person
Children pick up
The Research and Laboratory Center for Learning and Development of Young Childhood is open on weekday from 08:00 - 17:00 hrs. Parents can pick up children during this time.
