The Faculty of Nursing at Burapha University marked the successful completion of another international exchange with a certificate awarding ceremony for delegates from the College of Nursing of Central Philippine University, Philippines.<br /> <br /> Held on May 1, 2026, at the Nopparat Conference Room, the ceremony was led by Associate Professor Dr. Pornchai Jullamate, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, alongside faculty members. A total of 10 faculty members and students from Iloilo City were recognized for their active participation in the academic exchange program.<br /> <br /> The ceremony formed part of the Student Program for Academic Residency and Knowledge-sharing (SPARK): Inbound International Student Exchange Mobility Program, conducted from April 27 to May 2, 2026. Throughout the program, participants engaged in collaborative learning experiences, sharing insights in nursing education and professional practice.<br /> <br /> More than a closing event, the ceremony reflected the Faculty’s ongoing commitment to internationalization and academic excellence. Through initiatives like SPARK, the institution continues to foster meaningful global partnerships—advancing the nursing profession toward a more sustainable and interconnected future.
The Faculty of Nursing at Burapha University continues to strengthen its global engagement efforts as it warmly welcomed a delegation from the College of Nursing of Central Philippine University, Philippines.<br /> <br /> On April 28, 2026, at the Nopparat Conference Room, Asst. Prof. Dr. Saifone Moungkum, Associate Dean for International Strategic Affairs and Graduate Studies, together with faculty members and support staff, received 10 visiting administrators, faculty, and students from Iloilo City, Philippines.<br /> <br /> This visit marks the second cohort under the Student Program for Academic Residency and Knowledge-sharing (SPARK) following the establishment of a formal Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions in 2024. The program, scheduled from April 27 to May 2, 2026, serves as a platform for academic exchange in nursing education, research, innovation, and nursing technology while also fostering meaningful cultural connections.<br /> <br /> As one of the Faculty’s flagship internationalization initiatives, SPARK reflects a sustained commitment to building long-term academic partnerships and advancing a shared sustainability agenda in nursing education. Through continued collaboration with global partners, the Faculty of Nursing at Burapha University aims to elevate the quality of nursing education and contribute to the development of future-ready healthcare professionals on the international stage.

Held on April 2, 2026, at the Nopparat Conference Room, the ceremony was led by Associate Professor Dr. Pornchai Jullamate, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, together with faculty members. A total of 16 administrators, faculty, and students were recognized for their active participation in the academic exchange activities. The event marked the culmination of their involvement in the Student Program for Academic Residency and Knowledge-sharing (SPARK): Inbound International Student Exchange Mobility Program, conducted from March 29 to April 3, 2026. Throughout the program, participants engaged in meaningful exchanges of knowledge and experiences in both nursing education and professional practice. More than a formal recognition, the ceremony highlighted a growing spirit of international collaboration. By fostering academic dialogue and cultural exchange, the Faculty of Nursing continues to strengthen global partnerships and contribute to the sustainable advancement of the nursing profession.

Prof. Dr. Saifone Moungkum, Associate Dean for International Strategic Affairs and Graduate Studies, led the welcoming ceremony alongside faculty members. The delegation from Davao City was headed by Asst. Prof. Mr. Christian Joy C. Salas, Dean of the College of Nursing, with 11 participants, and five faculty members and students joined from Pilar College of Zamboanga in Zamboanga City.<br /> <br /> Although formal agreements are yet to be established, the visit reflects a shared interest in building meaningful academic connections. The participating institutions are engaging in benchmarking activities and exploratory discussions on potential collaborations—both academic and cultural—under the **Student Program for Academic Residency and Knowledge-sharing (SPARK): Inbound International Nursing Students Exchange Mobility Program**, scheduled from March 29 to April 3, 2026.<br /> <br /> The initiative aims to strengthen institutional linkages, enrich teaching and learning practices in nursing education, and create platforms for cross-cultural exchange among faculty and students. Through this engagement, the Faculty of Nursing continues to expand its global outlook—fostering partnerships that contribute to the long-term advancement and sustainability of the nursing profession.
