The Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University successfully organized an International Nursing and Cultural Exchange Program at the School of Nursing, Wenzhou Medical University, People's Republic of China. The program was held from 28 June to 4 July 2026, providing an invaluable opportunity for 18 faculty members, staff, and nursing students to enhance their academic competencies, broaden their international nursing perspectives, and deepen their understanding of cultural diversity an essential foundation for delivering quality healthcare in today's global society. Throughout the program, participants engaged in a wide range of academic and professional exchange activities, including discussions on nursing education management, clinical training, and healthcare delivery in international contexts. They also exchanged knowledge and experiences with faculty members and students from the School of Nursing, Wenzhou Medical University, fostering new insights, innovative ideas, and professional perspectives that will contribute to the continued advancement of the nursing profession. In addition to the academic exchanges, participants explored the cultural diversity, way of life, and healthcare system of the People's Republic of China. These experiences strengthened their cross-cultural communication skills, adaptability, and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds—competencies that are increasingly essential for nurses in the global healthcare landscape. Through this international exchange program, the Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University reaffirms its commitment to preparing future nursing professionals who are equipped to transcend boundaries, lead with excellence, and contribute to addressing global health challenges through sustainable and internationally oriented nursing practice.
The Faculty of Nursing at Burapha University marked the successful completion of another international exchange with a certificate awarding ceremony for delegates from the College of Nursing of Central Philippine University, Philippines.<br /> <br /> Held on May 1, 2026, at the Nopparat Conference Room, the ceremony was led by Associate Professor Dr. Pornchai Jullamate, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, alongside faculty members. A total of 10 faculty members and students from Iloilo City were recognized for their active participation in the academic exchange program.<br /> <br /> The ceremony formed part of the Student Program for Academic Residency and Knowledge-sharing (SPARK): Inbound International Student Exchange Mobility Program, conducted from April 27 to May 2, 2026. Throughout the program, participants engaged in collaborative learning experiences, sharing insights in nursing education and professional practice.<br /> <br /> More than a closing event, the ceremony reflected the Faculty’s ongoing commitment to internationalization and academic excellence. Through initiatives like SPARK, the institution continues to foster meaningful global partnerships—advancing the nursing profession toward a more sustainable and interconnected future.
The Faculty of Nursing at Burapha University continues to strengthen its global engagement efforts as it warmly welcomed a delegation from the College of Nursing of Central Philippine University, Philippines.<br /> <br /> On April 28, 2026, at the Nopparat Conference Room, Asst. Prof. Dr. Saifone Moungkum, Associate Dean for International Strategic Affairs and Graduate Studies, together with faculty members and support staff, received 10 visiting administrators, faculty, and students from Iloilo City, Philippines.<br /> <br /> This visit marks the second cohort under the Student Program for Academic Residency and Knowledge-sharing (SPARK) following the establishment of a formal Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions in 2024. The program, scheduled from April 27 to May 2, 2026, serves as a platform for academic exchange in nursing education, research, innovation, and nursing technology while also fostering meaningful cultural connections.<br /> <br /> As one of the Faculty’s flagship internationalization initiatives, SPARK reflects a sustained commitment to building long-term academic partnerships and advancing a shared sustainability agenda in nursing education. Through continued collaboration with global partners, the Faculty of Nursing at Burapha University aims to elevate the quality of nursing education and contribute to the development of future-ready healthcare professionals on the international stage.
The Faculty of Nursing at Burapha University celebrated the successful completion of an international academic exchange with a certificate awarding ceremony for visiting delegates from the University of Immaculate Conception and Pilar College of Zamboanga City, Inc., Philippines. Held on April 2, 2026, at the Nopparat Conference Room, the ceremony was led by Associate Professor Dr. Pornchai Jullamate, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, together with faculty members. A total of 16 administrators, faculty, and students were recognized for their active participation in the academic exchange activities. The event marked the culmination of their involvement in the Student Program for Academic Residency and Knowledge-sharing (SPARK): Inbound International Student Exchange Mobility Program, conducted from March 29 to April 3, 2026. Throughout the program, participants engaged in meaningful exchanges of knowledge and experiences in both nursing education and professional practice. More than a formal recognition, the ceremony highlighted a growing spirit of international collaboration. By fostering academic dialogue and cultural exchange, the Faculty of Nursing continues to strengthen global partnerships and contribute to the sustainable advancement of the nursing profession.
